Big week for PSG in the Champions League and a big win for Girona at Barcelona

It’s Jimbo and co, namely James Horncastle, Raphael Honigstein, Julien Laurens and Alvaro Romeo, ahead of the last Champions League group stage games as we know them. Man United must beat Bayern to stay in the competition, a task which may have become harder after Thomas Tuchel’s side were humiliated by Eintracht Frankfurt and now have a point to prove. Group F promises an enthralling finale with a must-win game for both Newcastle and Milan, while PSG could also miss out on the last 16 in what could be a huge week for Luis Enrique. Enrique’s old club Barcelona are dismantled by the new leaders of La Liga - Girona. Publicly the Catalan side say they’re not in the title race, but do we believe them? Plus Aubameyang on fire, the game of the season in the Bundesliga and Parma Palermo. Mardy Mardi: PSG Pick Our Pockets for Point

Taylor Payne is not a happy man; he's a bit less not happy than he was 24 hours ago, but not by much. Joining him to digest the indigestion of an ultimately unhappy evening in Paris are Chris Waugh and Jacob Whitehead. Kylian Mbappe's penalty rescued a point for Paris Saint-Germain in Champions League Group F, but that doesn't even begin to cover the shock of a 98th minute VAR decision that seemed impossible given what had come before. Did that moment steal the thunder of Newcastle's remarkable two-part performance? In the first half they pressed and pestered and scored a crucial goal through Isak. Then, as the eleven men tired and with no viable subs, they repelled waves of PSG attacks before that stunning final twist of the knife. Learn more about your ad choices.
