Han pratade med en lätt fransk brytning, hade stor kunskap inom branchen, och fick igenom en leverans till ett lager i London. Men identiteten visade sig vara falsk. Istället snuvades oståterförsäljaren Neal's Yard Dairy på 22 ton premiumcheddar för ett värde av ungefär fyra miljoner svenska kronor. Polisen misstänkte att ett ryskt kriminellt nätverk kunde ligga bakom kuppen. 63-årig man misstänks Händelsen skedde under förra veckan, och nu meddelar polisen att de hittat en misstänkt osttjuv, rapporterar Sky News. Det är en 63-årig man som gripits och sedan fördes till en polisstation i södra London för förhör. Han är nu misstänkt för bedrägeri och hantering av stöldgods. Tackar för stödet Efter att stölden blev uppmärksammad i media har många stöttat delikatessbutiken genom att gå dit och handla. ”Vi är verkligen rörda över att så många människor i ostbranschen och utanför står tillsammans med oss.”, säger Neal's Yard Dairy till tidningen.
